I have reserached this question and found no deffinet answer.

I have to replace driver side CV AXEL...can I get away with just replaceing one or replace both driver and passenger cv's so they wear evenly?

Never heard that about wheel bearings.

but yeah you'll be fine, I replaced my drivers side only about a month ago and know many others have done the same.

Thanks....the only reason I say that about bearings is if one goes bad and u replace them with new ones it might cause the other side to fail since u got new on one side and wore down ones on the other....if that makes any sense at all...Haha

How do u tell if ur cv joint is bad...I just did wheel bearings 2 months ago. Just got my lift installed 3 days ago and noticed fluid leaking from where the cv goes into the front diff. I also have a bad vib from 30-35mph and 40-45mph and when the steering wheel is turn all the way to the drivers side I get a pop and a clunk noise.

Before I installed the 1" diff drop no fluid everything was after install all the problems so I un-installed the diff drop. Any help or input would help thanks

probably the axle seal in the diff. you'll have to pull the CV out to replace it.

not sure about the vibes. your CV is bad if the rubber boots are ripped
