PXAMG for 2009 Tacoma with XM install

Has anyone connected their Ipod to an xm ready stock 09 tacoma stereo using this kind of connector or something similar. Can't get the harness from Peripheral Electronics to operate correctly for the life of me.

This list shows the 09 Taco as being compatible.

Video showing it working.

I want to listen to my Ipod and charge it simulataniously w/o the eyesore of a bunch of wires. Any suggestions?

XM logo on Faceplate

Per Peripheral: If your radio has an XM logo, they do not have a compatable ipod adapter right now. They tell me to be on the lookout. I'll cover watching between the hours of 0100 and 0500.

I have an iPod adapter in my 09 with XM and in dash CD changer. Its a PA-15TOY, or something like that. Here's a link:

Easy install and works great.

Thanks! Does it allow you to scroll thru artists and albums? By a button or dial? or just playlists? Either way - it sounds great.

Your wheels look great! Any rubbing?

It comes with instructions, but I'll give you the skinny.
You set-up 6 Playlists on your iPod with TOYOTA in them, or it'll default to the first 6 (alphabetically) playlists on your iPod now. You can move to each of the playlists and they will play in order that they are loaded on the playlist. You can see the title/artist, but you can't directly scroll using artist/song title.
The HU looks at it like each playlist is a disc, and one of them, I think disc 7, allows you to control the iPod directly and choose your music.
It all takes a little getting used to, but sound quality is there and it does charge while its docked.
Good luck.
Oh thx for the compliment on the wheels. No rubbing, but I haven't put the bigger tires on yet.
