Revival! I will be color matching my grill to the magnetic grey. Especially after seeing how it turned out on yours @bullaculla I am a little confused about the wet sanding in between coats. Can you explain that to me? And what should be on my shopping list for this project? Ordered a satoshi from homer taco as well so will probably make a whole day out of all this... Where did you go to get the paint?

Dear god people, do a quick search. $189 from Camelback Toyota and sell you chrome on CL for $125.

My local dealer beat Camelback's price, $169 out the door, then I sold my chrome on CL for $125. Seriously, less than $45 for a brand new color matched grill from Toyota. Why anyone would bother with paint is beyond me.

Camelback Toyota. I bought mine for $180 IIRC and it matches perfectly.

Camelback is great if you have a color that they supply. I have a pyrite mica truck and they didnt have it. I foud one on ebay for $210. However in the cases where you just cant find it and really hate chrome try out automotivetouchup.com. They have the colors you need in various ways from touch up, spray cans, to gallons. to each his own!
