Yeah, my 'favorite' can chance from day to day.

Had the Indy Ink been there still at the time of my 2000 buyback in 09', that very likely would have been my choice.

I'm self employed, and the dark blue would have even gone with all of my navy blue colors for my work shirts and hats.

Either way we're all victims of marketing the way you put it. Toyota markets the hell out of MGM (many on the lot), so lots of people buy them. They have a color that is more limited , and you buy it because you (like many in your demographic, the "nonconformists") hate played out things. Either way, you've been successfully marketed to. The only scenario where it wasn't a Toyota marketing decision determining your purchase would be if you bought it and had it repainted.

Me? I bought my MGM because I like the color. I don't care if every truck on the road was MGM. It's not going to change the fact that I think the truck looks good in that color.

    Just give it some time
Mine is the Rad Red, and it's a thing of beauty. They all look good, especially modded, but red is just me.

^ RAD is where its at IMHO.

Then again, RAD is a very bold color and a lot of people can't handle the Awesomeness that comes with it. Hence why people buy the safety colors.

I love how Toyota discontinued the Rad Red as its very hard to find one now that has been well kept.

MGM is an amazing color but I see it everywhere I go. Its the new SSM. Honestly, I would get MGM as its one of my favorite colors. However, it wouldn't be as special to me.

The real battle should be MGM or Pyrite. I really adore the Pyrite as its an amazing color thats also Rare.

Toyota ended 2 of the best colors imho. Indigo Ink and Rad Red:D
