I don't think that bumper is heavy enough to warrant 886 coils. They're intended for an ARB bumper and a winch hanging over the front end and still pushing 3" of lift. If you want to be at 2.5" of lift or maybe a little higher, I think the 886's would be too much. I would think 885's with the top plate would put you where you want to be and still ride well.

Toytec makes a top plate that will put your current set-up to 3" of lift, probably a little less with your bumper. It doesn't preload the coil any further, it sits on top of the assembly. Your ride wouldn't be affected from your current set-up.

For the rear, if you're not looking to replace your leaf pack, I'd look into the 3 leaf AAL from either Wheelers or Icon. It's more expensive but it rides really nice and comes with new u-bolts and centering pins.

I was wondering the same with the 886s. I was able to lift my bumper up and put it on myself so I don't think it weighs even 100lbs. I'll look into both those. Thanks

What's your budget like for this set-up also? Going to a higher end coilover and a replacement leaf pack would be great but not overly budget friendly.

Then I'd say keep it, the truck looks good! Plus, if you go higher, UCA's will soak up a good portion of that $1,000.

Your truck looks sweet!! I'm more of a fan of functionality and keeping it clean and simple. Like your truck just the way it is. In all honesty, it'll never be high enough, fast enough or unique enough. I say leave it!

I was thinking heavier coils. I am just worried about ride quality. Thanks everyone, this is way more input than expected.

My vote is keep it until the Tacoma comes out with a new engine for our trucks! Looks great and very clean set up! I would rather start with a new truck fom stock than start replacing your upgrades...just my opinion.

I have the toy tec coil overs on mine with the aal in the rear I know there is better stuff out there but this kit rides awesome especially considering what it costs definitely an upgrade from your current set up, I'll also be adding a bumper later and like the adjustable coil overs, that way if you don't think it sits right you can adjust until you are completely happy with the height.
I wish I would have seen that bumper on Craigslist I check in Denver every day somehow I missed that one.
