2.5" v/s 3" lift by ToyTec

I have a 2.5" lift now and I am thinking about getting a 3" lift and I was wondering if it would be worth the extra 1/2" and the hassle of doing it again? I have seen Tacomas with a 3" lift and they look noticeable higher, hard to believe a 1/2" can make that much of a difference. What do you all think?

Well first off I would examine how much you are willing to spend, the 3in lift from toytec with coils and rear AAL is 300 I think (atleast for the 885 coils) then take in consideration that with those coils the N140s OME front shocks work best with them. And for ride comfort you can purchase some billy 5100s rear shocks (i hear they are top notch). A Diff Drop is recomended because of the increase angle. It starts to add up after awhile but well worth it in my opinion.
Good luck with the decisions!

I don't understand why you would ask such a question?

This is something that is up to you.

If $300 is your life's savings then NO! It isn't worth it.

But if you have extra money. Then why not? Do what you want.

Some people get the "Icon" Coil overs even if they never offroad.

Some people get the coil spacers and beat the crap out of their trucks.

So I don't think I, or anyone else, can tell you what is, or isn't, worth spending money on.

Sometimes in life the decision is up to YOU!
