how necessary are the timbren bump stop for the u bolt flip kit?

    im about to buy the all pro ubolt flip kit. just wondering if the bump stops are worth the price?

    Depends if you think you will bottom your shock out. You can reuse the old bumpstops but you need to do a wee bit of modification. I would just go ahead and buy them, it's not worth the headache to me. Plenty of people run without bumpstops though..

    You only need them if you plan on flexing the crap out of your rear axle.

    I just cut my stock ones to fit and used a crappy welder to tack it to the plate

    They (Timbren) will get used eveytime your weight, towing or bed load bottoms you out, and depending on your trucks use, that could be often enough.
