I was thinking of putting a standard, smaller tool box in my truck bed toolbox that raised up so that the drawers could slide out.

Does anyone know the load rating of typical actuators? Would I be better off just going with some kind of lifters like the ones put under hoods/trunk lids with some kind of locking mechanism?
Just trying to thin of something unique and extremely functional for my rig. Thanks for any help!

I'd keep it removable, but that's just me. That way you can take the tools out and bring them to exactly where you need them.
