Mystery Hose - Anyone ???

    Found this small mystery hose hanging in the vicinity of my fuel tank. Pic is taken from behind the rear axle looking forward. Anyone know where it belongs?

    looks like some type of breather.....

    maybe someone here with a 2nd gen can go look.

    like superx2 said it looks like a gastank breather, the length is about right

    My guess is a vent line for the fuel tank. Can't find where it fits though...

    Icon Stage 8, ECGS Bushing, Timbren bump stops, Crown braided/extended brake lines, Overland Custom Design sway bar links, rear differential breather extension, oil filter drain hose, a/c drain hose extension & reroute, front windows tint, Cat Security, XPEL headlight/fog & grill protection, OEM block heater, RCBS illuminated 4X4 switch,
    The end of that hose goes into a hole just forward of there in the crossmember. I'm not positive but it might have something to do with the charcoal filter/cannister right above there.

    thought this might help....my finger is on the hose and as you can see it goes through a grommet on the crossmember.

    It looks like it goes into that hole about 3/4" and stops. I felt the end of it through the hole on the bottom of the cross member and it appears to be open...must be some sort of vent tube.

    That's for youdr e locker motor breather in the pictures above that grommet I mean. I don't believe you two are referring to the same hose
