Access cab and kids?

    The kids may still be a little ways off. We just got married and want to enjoy it a little bit. I just wanted to know what other people have done out there. She has an Outback that we would most likely use if we are going a distance but it sounds like an Access cab would be ok for just short trips. I have tried to convince her on the DC but she doesn't like the short bed and thinks it's to long with the long bed. But hey I'm not going to complain if shes ok with me getting a new taco! I test drove a 2012 the other day and was surprised at the room in the back. Didnt seem to be a whole lot that is what started this.

    2004 Tacoma DCSB & 1980 Toyota Pickup 4WD
    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    I dont have kids but am sure a AC would be fine until they got to be about 12 and older, then you would want to upgrade to a DC
