SD person. Since I joined TW I've been checking, no one seems to notice or care that I'm also in a taco. Maybe they're you people that don't acknowledge stock looking tacos. Give it time. Once I pay pay some bills, gonna icon stage 2 it.

Side note: the other day here at the mission valley Costco noticed about 4 2nd gens parked in close proximity to each other, counting mine. Wonder if THEY noticed.

I bet they did. I notice every taco on the road or in a parking lot. It's hard not to notice such a regal and handsomely designed truck when all the others fall into some sort of monotony. Not naming names...

I don't see many other Tacomas on the road. I live in a ruralish area though, preference is definitely for extra ginormous trucks. F350 Powerstroke blah blah... I feel like they're making up for some other deficiency. :D

That said I tend to wave, and other Tacoma owners wave back. But on this side of the cattle guard it's pretty common to give a nod or wave to everyone regardless of the vehicle they drive.

No. Tacoma drivers are jerks. Who'd want to wave at them?

I only wave at heavily modded tacomas, I've tried waving at people with a lift and tires and they look at me crazy too.

Sounds like ppl with modded trucks are too stuck up in most parts of this country to wave at someone in a non-modded truck...it's still a tacoma ppl!!!!

but moddeds are more likely to wave back as they have the same interests and would also be more likely to be on a forum like this. most folks driving the vehicle just to drive it dont care.

Well being a former Jeeper and still riding my bike, I am used to waving and do wave to modded Taco's now that I have one.
