Don't know how it happened, but it happened int he last four hours.

The peice of the slider that locks in to keep someone from opening the slider from the outside fell off. Any idea how to fix it? Looks like some gorilla glue or something could work. Kinda need to fix this within the next few days as I don't want some jackass stealing stuff outta my truck or anything like that.

Mine broke off in the first year I had the truck. Just fell apart. I just keep the window closed and people assume it's locked. Never had an issue.

theres nothing wrong with a little ol Duct tape.... haha. but seriously if its just the clamp( lock) gorilla glue might work. i just havent looked at it close enough to figure out it.

I'll try to get a pic up soon.

I live in an area that gets a ton of car break ins and vandalism unfortunately, so not having something back there securing the window is bugging me. I'll probably end up gorilla glueing it.

You are supposed to re-glue it with rear view mirror glue available at auto part stores.

There's your answer. Believe it or not, your normal every day Papermate pen fits in there perfectly.

Seriously though, locked or not it won't stop someone from breaking that window open, not like it's hard. I kinda wish I had the one piece to be honest, even if it's nice opening it up at 75mph for better air flow to not ram into your ears...

Call your local Toyota dealership and find out what Glass company use they might have some spare parts laying around or they might have some adhesive they would recommend.
