Lord have mercy! Ok, so I am now considering holding off on my new wheels and going w/ the billies. I guess you all pretty much know what you're talkin about. If I go w/ that on the front, what (if anything) do I need on the rear?

It's all good. I really do appreciate the help. I got a friend who is trying to sell me on getting a leveling kit, but I see so much crap here about them. I figure 100s of ya'll can't be wrong compared to one of him. Now I just gotta find a shop to do all this...

I think the mileage and the comment about new springs and coils is right on.

If it were me, I would probably make sure what is there has life left. If you need shocks and springs, you're best ride will come from the eibachs and the 5100's. If your shocks are good, go with some new eibach springs that will level you out and improve the ride quality...

    Thanks!

The ride quality is going to be 100x better than a spacer lift. Install shouldn't run too much and if you are feeling adventurous you can do it yourself it really isn't difficult.

The eibach springs will not level out the front of the truck by themselves.

i'm hoping to put them on myself. what i've done to my truck so far, which isn't much, has come from my hands. like to know more about it than just dropping it off for someone else to do. i am kinda ocd about stuff.

just gotta check prices and junk. wanna do all 4 prob.

I am the same way. The only part that I recommend having someone else do is compress your front shocks and coils for you. If you really know what you are doing then go for it but I had problems with the first one I tried and took the other one to a shop (needless to say they fucked the assembly up but fixed it free of charge)

i got a buddy who has a lift so i am hoping he has the compressor as well. i don't have the capabilities of doing that part. otherwise, i'll be taking em to a shop if he can't do it. i'll be doing all this in the next few weeks. gonna get some spidertrax too...1.25. the new wheels can wait for now

Just checked that out....nasty. I'm pretty much set on NOT getting a spacer lift now! It's cheaper and easier to install, but I love my truck too much to go around screwing it up.
