Pretty much this. Most people with snorkels fitted don't realize that without protecting the electronics and moving breathers up higher your still going to screw something during a water crossing. Yes I also know they are used in very dusty environments but if you live/drive in a huge city it just looks retarded. People living in Australia do a huge face palm everytime they see a big ass bro dozer with street tires and snorkel in the US. If you really need a snorkel as said before, you'll figure out a way to make it work.

    Yes.
Guys, that isn't the point. The only reason I responded to this thread was to make it clear that snorkels are no different for the 2012. That is it.

Per Safari and ARB they want 500 confirmed orders and someone to send them a truck to Australia for testing in order to introduce a new model.

Unless your willing to do that then it is hopeless with Safari.

I would seek the help of smaller companies if one is truly wanted (airraid etc).

Guys.. The 2012 tacoma only changed in the first 4" of the front.. everything else it equally the same, its just a face lift. The snorkel will still fit if modded the same way to fit the 2005-11s

I wrote the original install guide for Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters. These will work same/same on the 2012's
