If you could only do one of these things to your 2012 Tacoma what would you choose?

If you had the money and could do only one of the following to your 2012 TRD 4X4 Offroad Tacoma, which would you choose:

    1. Keep stock suspension and install 265/75/16 Duratracs on stock wheels and replace the stock stereo with a killer sound system

    or

    2. Install a 3 inch kit to level the truck out and run bigger tires on stock wheels and leave the sound system stock, it's not the Entune system.

Which option would be more practical for everyday driving with occasional offroading?

If your in the truck on the road a lot than this would be better. If your going to beat it off road then lift. Lift does nothing on the road...

The only thing a lift and bigger tires on the road does is kill your gas mileage!

As stated above, the head unit in the 12 is much improved over previous models. I have no plans to touch it anytime soon. But I did add a lift, wheels, and tires.

It makes walking to your truck much more awesome lol. I have the OME lift and IMO it rides much better than stock.

I mostly listen to music through my phone and honestly the sound quality with the Bluetooth is pretty spectacular for stock.

sounds like you're not into offroading so I'd go with the sound system. You will use it every day on your way to work and be able to appreciate it more.

    I just did this actually.

I lifted and put on new tires, everything was done with a budget minded approach.

I want the stereo but I'll do that later, I wanted the lift more as the front-end dive under braking and the ride of the truck ass high was bothersome. I also think the stock tires weren't right for my needs. The ride is amazing and I'm stoked I went this way, totally different truck.
