need opinions

im continuing this off an earlier thread, i have a white 08 tacoma that im trying to fix up going with the black on white theme, meaning black sliders, wheels and would like to get a black grill for it but ive got a chrome strip around the grill and dont think the strip would look good around the black grill so anyone know a way around this, please give your input

 

i've heard of people painting their chrome grilles black, there are also aftermarket ones that come in raw black plastic, and then theres the option of finding one off of a BSP sport model Tacoma too.

painting may be a pain and time consuming with the prep and $. I looked into a raw (black) and color match (sport). For my area I found it way cheaper to get it in the raw (black) and take it a local shop for color match. Price was about half, spring project.

 

where did you get yours from, or did you get yours from toyota

i just looked at silverbacks build it kinda looks like he kept his chrome and just put a black grill in there, or am i wrong and the silver looks like chrome
