Contemplating the TRD supercharger, wondering if it's worth the money. Any suggestions?

I see you are in Portland.

I am very good friends with the parts department manager at Toyota locally.

He gave me a pretty good deal on my TRD SC and they treated me like royalty.

Message me and I can send you the info.

Also I would go with TRD because if you stay with TRD and have the dealership install it, it will carry the balance of the factory warranty, no questions asked. If you go URD (which is a fine kit) you will void your warranty.

    So it's up to you.

I would not try to run it on regular gas. I have spend enough money on the truck, that I would not want to damage the engine, by being cheap at the pump.

I have noticed about a one MPG loss with the blower. I get around 14 mpg in town, about 19 mpg on the highway.

I am also fortunate to have a 3.5 mile commute.

Yes, I am supercharged. Had mine done at Vancouver Toyota across the river from you. They did a good job, I highly reccomend them. I love my S/C on my Taco. You must run High Octane with it or you run the risk of pre-detonation and messing up your engine.
