Headlight housing painting.

The painting is going nicely today. A lil bit windy today but it is all going well.

Alright well here are some before and after shots, I am still in the process of sealing them. After they are all sealed up I will post a pic of them on my truck.

 

Gonna wait till tomorrow to take all the clamps off. I sealed it again and then I used silicone around that so if everything works out right it should be super sealed.

Alright they are on and looking great! No problems that I can tell as of now but I guess I will know when it rains if I am good to go...

 

Way better, I even painted the emblem in the front white. Looks way cleaner with all that chrome off.

 

Anyone use 3M Window Weld. for reseal. I just read it gives off no gas... Jim

 

I didn't use 3M, but I think used one that didn't give off gas.

 

A pal just did headlights on a old nis 300. to stop leaks and do the black out at the same time. He told me that this stuff has no caustic gas as it dry's. So its 1 less thing to go wrong. Pep boys has it for 15 beans for 15 feet. Think Im going to use it as his look good and has no leaks now... Jim

sprayed my truck down today, so far no leaks!
