I have a 2011 tacoma and I was told that the sides of the bed unbolt. Is this true? I have some damage and would like to know if it unbolts or if I have to drill out spot welds etc.

Hey, this is true. The bedside assemblies unbolt from the bedside. There is an outer and an inner bedside that are spot welded together but to my knowledge you can only buy the entire assemblies, which are quite expensive.
