Winter fuel is killing me...16 mpg... easy miles

    Op's problem is his short trips to work. When temp is cold, I get 10 mpg or less for the first, like, 3 miles, then it tapers down SLOWLY. On a 15 miles drive, going 55 mph on the small portion of highway, the max I can get is like 19.5 average with the colder temps.
