TRD air intake sucks

    265/75/16 buckshot mudders, 3" lift OME 886 coils, LR UCA's, TRD cold air intake, AllPro rear bumper, rock sliders, and front bumper
    Im losing my trd air intake and going back to stock i dont like it its get muddy and dirty to easy

    Isn't that what intakes are supposed to do? So the TRD doesn't suck as good as the oem?..or the oem sucks more than the TRD?...or both? So the TRD sucks less than the oem but that isn't preferred?

    I have a TRD intake and have been in some good mud and dirty conditions and never ran into issues like you are saying. I have my fender lining in still.

    I am interested in either this CAI or the Injen kit, not for performance but because I am installing an aftermarket CNG mixer system and want a better intake runner tube to install into.

    PM inbound.

    Oops, Sorry, I was looking at the old style with the PVC relocated. This setup will not work as well. Still would be interested in a inJen FWIW.

Interior mods: TRD seat covers, LED map and dome lights, 2 kicker 10' w/ 500 watt amp, pioneer door speakers,and Pioneer AVIC X930BT.
    i have the first gen intake for the 4.0 and i love it still. I really only have to clean it once a year tops. I guess it just depends on where you live
