Said that right with the 4 door. Love mine, but hate hearin the classic words after a school day: "hey man can you take me and my friend to (fill in location) for (5-10) bucks" cause its always your friends and being in high school, youll always take whatever cash you can get. If i could go back, id of got an access cab cause theres always room for passengers in my taco haha

People ask me if they can have rides in mine. I just say no. Haha. But transporting people isn't really my reason to get a 4 door. Just to haul some stuff I couldn't put in the bed that couldn't fit in an access cab.

Because there's usually a dirt bike in the back which means no room so all of my gear and stuff has to go in my truck which all of it doesn't fit. And during deer season, same thing, but with a deer and all of my clothes and stuff won't fit.

How would that help? My dad has one of those and that wouldn't help for in the cab and a dirt bike would be in the way in the bed

If you're having an issue with your mpg I would start off with these items that are not too expensive and will prob help...

    1. Clean your maf sensor, clean your throttle body, and change your air filter
    2. Check your spark plugs, if worn replace
    3. Use some BG injection system cleaner.
    4. Check your allignment

Cab space and bed space are both space. The only difference is whether the space is in the cab or the bed.

So once again: Why can't the stuff fit in your bed with your dirt bike? I don't own a dirt bike, but I understand what they are, have encountered them in person, and know how they are shaped. There is no fucking way one could take up ALL the space in your bed.

Ditto for a deer. I could fit a fucking BEAR in my bed and still pack shit around it.

So...why won't the stuff go in? Are you geometrically impaired or....what's the problem?

Sounds to me like you got yourself a case of "itchy feet" or buyer's remorse but I can tell you that you made a GREAT decision buying that Tacoma. Maybe the gas mileage isn't that of a Corolla or the like but it's a solid very reliable and useful truck that will hold it's value in the long run. When you are in a better position to trade you'll be glad you don't own any other.
I've driven junkers most of my life thinking I was better off. I was wrong.
I've driven mostly domestic vehicles thinking the same. Wrong again.
Finally I did my homework. If you love trucks, the Tacoma is the ONLY way to go.

I don't see why it matters this much? Gas tanks go in the back too. Even when we go hunting. God forbid I want a 4 door for space, an automatic, and better mpg. I'm sorry for having an opinion. And congrats about getting a bear in your truck and put stuff around it. I don't really care. I'm just planning on getting a 4 door and getting rid of a manual transmission.

So the issue isn't at all what you originally said it was?

Well, go for the double cab if that's what lights your fire. Just be realistic about what it may cost you when you're crunching the numbers.

Depending on what you carry in your dirtbike bag you should try to get the smallest one you can so you can fit it in the bed.
