what psi do you run.

    I have cooper discover m/s tires on my tacoma double cab. What psi should I be running. I'm now running 34psi. I see they are rated for 44 on the tire. That sounds high to me. I'm talking about highway driving.

    Do the chaulk test for the proper pressure. It will vary depending on the vehicle and the tires. 44 psi wouldn't be unreasonable if you have D or E rated tires.

    FWIW, I'm running Cooper AT3s in 265/70R17 at 35 psi.

    Best bet is to do a chalk test. Google it for detailed how to. Ideal inflation will vary based on tires and vehicle weight. IE stock vs fully armored.

    I run what it says in the users manual, until I get new tires. Chalk test is the best way. You can always contact the tire manufacturer to see what input they have as well.
