    How ignorant are you...? Isn't this Japanese vs American made shit beat to death yet? I can think of plenty of japanese inspired vehicles that sound fantastic. Maybe not straight piped, but vehicles generally aren't meant to be straight piped either. I'm sure you like your Flowmaster 40 as well... I think they sound like garbage. Everything comes down to how you perceive it.

    x2. If you want a mean sounding straight-piped engine, you can't beat an old V8 muscle car.

    If you mess with resonators enough, you can make the Tacoma sound decent, just a lot of expensive trial and error to get the sound exactly what you want.
