$800 for a step? ........really?.......Thats plain INSANE..the material is an 1/8th of that cost and the labor (once the jig is set) 1/4 the mark up is way to much.

I thought NFAB's cost alot?.......Now they are cheap compared to RBP

    I did say spendy, didn't I?

RBP gets them in from N-fab, cuts 'em up, adds on, and recoats. They are just over $100 more on the regular step than they make vs. the N-Fab. Look at the part numbers between them. Same, just like the Smittybilt.

Only GoRhino makes their own with the Dominator syle. Westin will be jumping in on the design soon as well.

Only reason i didnt get Avids are because they dont have a flat step area and since i was getting mine for others benefit not mine(my grandmother rides in it from time to time) i wanted something that made it a little less likely someone could slip or something.

I kinda agree. Ill probably end up with Avid sliders and weld in some diamond plate or something else in the gaps to make them more "step" friendly

The dudes at 4wheelparts hooked me up on a set of 3" Nfabs for the price of the smittybilts. Smittybilts were out of stock. Other places could learn something from their customer service over there, they have always been great to deal with.

What is it about the Avids that they don't make the truck look lower? Eventually I want to get some steps and am curious about the difference in Avid's and Nfab's.

The avids don't have the dropped step area like the Nfabs

Hi, Congrats on your new truck. I have a TRD double cab long bed 2012 and just installed a set of Westin 4" oval polished stainless nerf bars. Got them from Autoanything, and product was perfect and install was simple, everything fit and looks great. I dont have pictures yet but I am very happy with them. Only thing I did extra was put some red locktite on the bolts so they dont loosen up.
