Off Road offers 16" wheels and Sport offers 17" or 18" wheels if that matters. I'm loving my '12 TRD Off Road in MGM

If you have to pick between the TRD packages, get the Offroad. It actually does something besides look different (also, no rice-a-roni hood scoop).

If you're going to actually wheel it, get the SR5 and build it.

I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
Doesn't the sport actually have a rear sway bar that the offroad doesn't come with? I thought that was.part of the sport suspension. Rear sway bar, hood scoop, and 17" rims. No locker, but the we have the yellow wire mod.

Depends if you need/want the 6' bed. If not I would get the Off Road for the locker. I needed the 6' bed so I had no choice but to get the Sport. And with all the mods I am planning on doing it won't be much of a Sport anymore. Except the colour matched door handles, rear bump, side mirrors and hood scoop.

Bed extender. I have a 6 foot bed when I want it. And a locker.

Hence the use of the word AGAIN.

    :p

Used my short bed and bed extender to make two trips to Lowe's today, for 30 bags of pine mulch per trip. Works a treat.

Look at what you want to do with the truck. I bought the sport, one for the looks and 2 I plan on putting a full suspension lift and lockers in myself. Why pay toyota to put something on if you plan on changing it anyways?
