So finished my front end mod yesterday. Just painted somethings but have had some great feed back on it so far. Even had a bunch of sales people checking it out at the dealership.

So here it is after detailing and before work begins on it.

Here the light and surrounding area is taped off

Here are the painted badges. yes I broke the small toyota badge FML

    And the final product

i have yet to put the badges back on. I like them off for now. Let me know what you think I also did the fogs if you can tell. Painted them all on the truck and not a run spot or spec of paint on it!

Yes I know sounds stupid but its not.

I have a new set of factory tinted fogs on the way. That work better then my stock. I never use the fog lights. My new headlights are way brighter then stock and see through fog with relative ease. I only used two layers of black out paint and they still work quite well actually I was impressed I just wanted to see how it looked on the truck.

I know what your thinking but new fogs will be going in as soon as i get back from work up north and Its not being driven while I'm gone.

Ah I got you. I was just curious...and I am quite certain they work much better than the cupholders installed on my front bumper. :D

    Anyway, nice look there.

Looks very nice! Did you clear coat your badges? I just painted mine with automotive paint, and was undecided if clear coat was necessary or not......

Clear coat is a must but you need to be careful that the humidity is LOW when you paint them else they will look cloudy.

I put 2 coats of clear on mine before I put them back on - happy but not ecstatic. I may just buy factory black ones off of eBAY or SockMonkey decals in black
