Got the 2005-2011 TSB for rear spring harsh ride. I am planning on doing some towing with a travel trailer with my 2012 Tacoma, and many folks have suggested getting done to Tacomas that are going to be used in this manner. Couple questions arise:

Has/will a TSB covering 2012 been issued, and where can I find it (I have the TSB for 2005-2011).

Does it make the ride much stiffer when not towing?

    Thanks for the advice,

    Jim

can't answer your first question. I have heard though that the 2012s have four leaf springs back there...it should be easy to check your truck. As far as a rougher ride I just got mine done a couple weeks ago and the ride is much better even without towing or a load

My '12 TRDOR has 3 leaf packs. They compress very easily, far too easily.
There is no TSB for 2012.
I just had mine at the dealer to explore options. When I have more time next week, I'll go again so they can apply a load, multiple techs in bed, and make their recommendation to the next guy up the ladder. I won't let this go, I had it done on a 2009 model and it was a very noticable improvement. Just drove up here to my mntn place with a few hundred pounds in the bed, at the most, and it bottomed out a few times again

I had my 11 trd done 2 weeks ago I can honestly say I think the ride is better.....I really love how it rides after the TSB...I did however had to bring it back to Toyota because the drivers(left)side was lower than the pass side......they did something to it and it's fine now.

Blueridge, What dealer did you use and have you gotten anywhere? I am in the same boat.
