If I don't word this carefully it will sound like I'm bashing your ride so I'll clarify right up front that I'm not. I am genuinely curious however how a 6" lift like that "performs" next to a 2.5 or 3. There's the obvious height/clearance advantage, but can it really go significantly more places? or is it a combo of looks and capability thing? JW as it's not really my thing and never looked into it much

The 6" can go anywhere the 3" can go and vice versa. The 6" looks good and costs more that's about it lol.

I just think the 6" lift accents the 2012 front end better then a 3".

Only real advantage to the 6" lift is you maintain near stock CV angles.

I'm starting to understand what this site is all about.

There's a group of you that post valuable things.
There's a group of you that post bullshit and bitch about anything.
There's a group of you that post pictures.
There's a group of you that post silly smile faces.
There's a group of you that post your insecurities, lightly veiled as questions.
Then there's a group of people that just lurk.

    I'll be in the latter.

"wondering" and becoming an issue are two very different things.

    Like:

(1)"you paid how much for that front bumper??"

    vs:

(2)"you paid how much for that front bumper?? You could have bought me a necklace, you could have took me shopping, we could have had a weekend vacation, we could have took a cruise, you never buy me anything, you are not allowed to buy anything like that again...nag nag nag, bitch bitch bitch..."

My girlfriend says #1, then says how awesome the bumper will look on the truck.

And that is as far as it goes.

This is a group of us that have similar interests, just like any club.
We use each other for ideas.
We use each other to help fix things.
We use the site to meet friends to go wheeling with and show us new places.
And yes... we post pictures of our cool shit.

Just relax man. You threw out some philosophical stuff and that's ok. But don't expect to have everyone agree with you. It's one thing to talk about the best way to outfit a truck. It's a whole different thing to describe the best way to maintain a relationship.

I've received tons of good advice about tacomas from the people on this site. If i want to know how to keep the woman i love happy... I will probably ask her.. not the dudes on a truck website.. lol

lol.... a truck website for love.
