Over the last few weeks, my driver's door has started squeaking or rattling, but only when the outside ambient temperature drops below 56 degrees F. I'm assuming that the rubber molding is either shrinking in the cold or becoming less compliant, thus causing the noise. I've tried cleaning it and am considering whether some type of lubrication or oil might help.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to address this?

I've thought this forever myself. When it gets warm here in az, my truck doeent have a single rattle. Only when its cold. Like everything Is stiff. I've used some lithium grease on the more problematic areas. It seemed to help, but there's still the occasional squeak or rattle. It's kinda. Learned to live with it. I mean Its only cold here for a few months. lol

Try to spray some silicone lub. on a rag and wet down the weather stripping.... I bet that works... We have to do that up here in the Great White & Cold North, or the weather stripping will freeze to the door frame....

    It works...
