Finally Ordered my Clazzio Leather Seat Covers

Not sure if you were asking me or not. I took the console apart and used spray adhesive to hold the leather in place and then carefully tucked it under the plastic piece. It's been a while but I'm pretty sure I just loosened the screws up some to work the leather in so that it would stay tight. I remember it was a bitch and I re-did it like 10 times!

 

I'm really digging the gray sides with the black in the middle. Very clean.

How hard was it to install the seat heaters? Did you do it under the fabric or just under the seat cover?

 

Seat heaters were pretty simple to install...I think the included wiring instructions were pretty decent if I recall correctly. I went over the fabric/under the seat cover. I've been told that the adhesive from the seat heaters will ruin my seat fabric. I suppose if I was planning on removing the Clazzios I'd be concerned with that but as far as I'm concerned this is the way my truck will always be. If the Clazzios wear out, I may replace them with new ones or perhaps Wet Okoles but, either way, I dislike the stock fabric since it is so easily stained so something's going to be on there regardless.

 

Thanks for the info. When you tucked it under did u have a lot of slack left. I'm trying to find a small enough/comfortable enough padding to place under and tuck it under the console. It's a pain though.

 

I know it was a pain and I re-did it a bunch of times. The spray adhesive helped and my $5.99 handy-dandy set of interior trim removal tools from Harbor Freight were also useful. I don't think I had a lot of slack but honestly don't remember. I don't think I used any additional padding although I don't think that'd be a bad thing.
