If any of you think any American President can control gas prices you need to go back to economics class. The US has the lowest gas prices around because we give the oil co. huge tax incentives. Right now there is more then enough oil to go around but speculators are driving the price up betting some thing is going to happen in the Gulf. And don't go there with the "oil reserves" the last time we tried that it made a whopping difference in the fuel prices of less then 1% yes about 3 cents a gallon so they are not about to try that again.

I can't believe that price. When I filled up at 112.9 it was around 75 bucks. I also fill up when the light comes on(60L). $20.00 plus bucks more a tank when I fill up if I went to Vancouver, brutal! Newertoy keeps on emailing you maybe he wants some "OZ" lol.

Was that mess of quote text up there talking about Gull Island up in Alaska? The one Lindsay Williams always references, saying his old oil exec buddy claims outsizes Saudi fields 2:1 and could be currently produced at profit for $0.55/gal but isn't being tapped?

I somewhat agree with that man's statement that oil really hasn't gone up much in the past 2 years, the dollar has gone down, and oil is traded in US dollars so everyone feels the pinch.

    5.33/gal in the montreal area.

we are used to this kind of price here, but NOT during wintertime, we often see prices of this kind during june-july-august-september.
