how did you run the wires through the back of the dash and into the faceplate?

 

I took the entire center console out, cut a whole in the front cubby for the wires to run through, screwed the faceplate in and then reinstalled the center console/CB all at once.

 

o okay. so you cut a hole the size of the cobra in the back of the cubby?

 

Not that big, just big enough for the bundle of wires. I should have taken a picture before I reassembled the console. This link shows what I'm talking about
