I mean which model straight off the showroom sits higher?
It looks like the Tacoma dbl cab sits lower than the rest. Is it just me?

Yeah, it's heavier. Toyota specs show the double cab as having a lower breakover angle than the access cab. I've always assumed it was because the cab body is heavier, so the springs are a bit more compressed.

Mine sat a touch higher than my buddies dbl cab in the back, both stock. Almost identical in the front.

Toyota's website lists the Double cabs as being 1/2" or so higher than the others stock.

I think I am starting to settle down on a Tacoma. I know I want 4x4 and not sure what I want to do about the back seat yet. Access or double. Definatly a V-6. TRD Package. What else yall think to make it look more aggressive. Don't count mods. I want to see what Toyota can offer.

Toyota doesn't offer what isn't on their website, look there.

TRD Sport - Color matched grill, bumpers, handles, mirrors and interior options, scoop
TRD OR - SR5 package + A-Trac, Locker, Bed outlet misc interior options
SR5 - Same 4WD system as the sport, some interior options, same ext as the TRD OR / Chrome
    Base.

May sound silly, but I have a Dodge Dakota Quad cab and the seats fold up. It gives me alot of storage room. I dont think the Tacomas will do that.
