    has anyone put 4:88 in there 05 and newer tacoma? needing to now it the stock carriers need to be change out to run that size gear or if they will work. i believe it has 3:73 in it now.

    Yes you must change the carrier, unless you have the 4 cyl 5 sp 4x4 which has 4.10 from factory.
