    These are all the reasons right here. His new 2012 TRD 4X4 Offroad (I have major truck envy :) ). Just picked it up today. Has nav and the towing package too. He originally bought my truck (the 2002 TRD Prerunner) in December 2001, and handed it down to me in March 2008. He bought a bright red Mini Cooper S, but missed his truck so my mom sold her Sequoia, took over the Cooper, and we picked up this today. It is awesome. As much as I love my first gen, I love the Nav and 4X4 and everything on this even more. It's nice being a two Tacoma family, and he said that in a few years he's going to hand this one down to me again :D So without further ado, heres our new 2012 :)

    Nice trucks! The first gens made me fall in love with the Tacoma, although I never owned one. On my second, second gen now...

    Also, love the white on the Tacoma! It is one of the few vehicles I think actually looks good in white!

    I agree. He understands my love for the trucks and wants to encourage em. Plus it just trains me to hand mine down to my kids. And he wants to make sure I dont stick him in a home in 20 years hahaha

    I hear ya man. My dad bought a 2012 DC TRD Sport in October (paid cash), and like any good son I followed in his footsteps and bought mine in November. You know what they say the apple doesn't fall from the tree.

    Getting a truck from your dad is a feeling you can never duplicate, it means more to your son than you know, trust me :)

    I dont see any reasons why you cant come to pismo...

    Tacoma is an inherited gene apparently :D

    Both are nice trucks.
    My dad sold our 1984 4Runner and handed me down a 1985 Nissan Micra. As you can guess I would have preferred the 4Runner, but I was still grateful as I'm sure you are.
