shouldn't this thread get locked just like a street racing thread?

I did the film on the headlights and fogs and I couldn't see anything..

Pulled the film off, then I did a retrofit. Now I can see everything.

Wait, you wanted to see better, so you got HID's, then you didn't want to see as good. so you are tinting them? Sounds perfectly logical to me!

Glad to hear OP has reconsidered. The line between cool and fool is thin.

I always think about liability on screwing around with lighting. Attorney's are always looking to score. Blacked out head lights, tail lights, etc - just asking for it, IMO. And I love the guys who say "oh, use film and then jump out and pull it off if in an accident." Good luck w/that, because who gets hurt in an accident anyway. An no chance anyone will notice a person un-modding, first thing. Besides, who really carries a camera with them to record such actions these days.

if you want the "blacked out" look, go with a retro fit so at least you aren't hindering your light out put!

x2, I always think about how if I ever rear end someone with tinted tails, I'm going to sue the hell out of them. You're purposely making your vehicle less visible? Wait until a lawyer gets a hold of that

I run the brightest headlights available legally and the brightest LED tail lights I could find.

3rd light helps. I dont think i would do the tail lights. Afraid of being rear ended.
