Can You Identify This Coil?

So I may be buying this truck and I will want to lift it.... but I'm wondering if anyone can identify the brand of this coil-over so I will know if it is adjustable enough for a 3" lift

 

It looks like a sway a way coilover

 

A very worn out SAW coilover.. thats a lot of pre load on the coil.

 

I thought the same about the pre-load, but I wasn't sure. So is it toast? The truck is an 06 TRD Off-road with 57k miles, 4x4, dbl cab 6 spd manual, and he wants 19.5

 

they are old coil overs, most likely been only since he bought it.

They will need a rebuild and most likely new springs. its all easy to replace.. if everything else is good go for it.

 

how long have they been on the truck?

 

The orig owner says he had 4 wheel parts put them on shortly after he bought it, so you are correct. I just wasn't sure what brand it was.

@ second look at the preload it looks like alot but the cv's dont look to bad.....

 

Cool. I was thinking of just getting the procomp 3" kit with the coil overs and AAL's... It seems like a lot of you guys have that set up and like it. I'd prefer to go 6", but ya gotta pay to play haha

 

procomp is very popular as is OME and fox king and icon etc, 6" in to much IMO im not a fan

 

I have those same coil overs in my truck SAW 2.0's. Just get them rebuilt and if you want to reduce the preload some new springs and you will have a great front setup.
