Anyone put a set of these in a second gen. yet? Im looking for some new seats for my '12 to get rid of the stock bench seat. Wondering how these are or if anyone has any other suggestions.

OP, anybody help you out with this outside of this thread yet?

Corbeau makes a nice seat and their vehicle-specific mounting brackets are well designed and bolt right up. Do you have any specific questions about the install?

Expect to see the airbag light on the dash after the install as the factory seats come with weight and position sensors that won't exist in the aftermarket stuff.

Mjp2, I have a question. Is there a way to bypass the airbags? So the light stays off? I've seen the write up on making the airbags work with buckets but that was quite labor intensive. Has anyone just bypassed the airbags in the seats?

Not that I'm aware of. Mind you, pulling the seats and sensors does disable the airbags, it just throws the warning light on the dash. They'll still blow if you hit something hard enough...

cool. I tried to post a smiley but they don't work with tapatalk and phones... I'd really like to know what you figure out. I have seen a few mods to make it work, but one seemed like a hell of a lot of work and I really just want to fool the truck into thinking the stock airbags are there.

there are solutions, im running Porsche seats and have no airbag warning lights and a working passenger side occupant detection thin. but you do have a '12, so things might have changed, and you have many airbags lol
