Here's my one-month-old TRD Sport in Pyrite Mica. I installed a Predator Step Bar and a Truxeda roll-up cover. I have a avidoffroad lightbar for the front on order.

The stepbars are pretty nice. Just the right size and shape to put a foot down or scrape mud off your shoes.

I like the new steering whell setup on the 2012. It adds a bit of style to a bland interior, IMO.

I swapped out the automatic shifter with a TRD leather shifter. Supposedly, the shifter that comes with the TRD Sport is leather-wrapped. Or so they say. Feels like hard plastic to me.

Looks good. Is that the stock shift knob with the TRD logo?

    Thanks.

No, I purchased that from TRDParts. The Sport comes with a leather-wrapped shifter but that is now my experience. It feels like hard plastic IMO.

    Pyrite Mica FTW!!!

I hope Toyota offers it on the 3rd gen Tacoma due out soon. If so, I may be real tempted to trade.

Looks just like mine (2010) but with a better front end and interior. So, nothing like mine. lol I dig that shift knob and may have to copy you because I hate the one in my Tacoma. Fun fact: The Camry has the exact same shift knob.

Yeah but I owned a Camry Hybrid. I'm tired of this shift knob already and to me it just doesn't look right in a tuck after I personally used it in a hybrid for 5yrs. That probably doesn't make sense to you but it makes sense to me. :p
