Some idiots think they can be speed racer in a down pour. I see at least one spun out pickup every time it rains. Some people have no business owning a truck.

You can't beat Michelin LTX's. I have run two sets of them and drove them for 194,000 miles. Great road tire. Excellent traction in rain. I would have bought them for my new truck but they didn't look agressive enough for me with the lift.

I was merging from 30mph onto 65mph traffic because the person I was trying to merge behind slowed to the same slow speed. I started to speed up so I don't get slammed by both the slow car and the one heading toward us at 65mph.

Given that you had one idiot in front of you and one idiot behind you during a down pouring rain, it sounds like you did some pretty good driving. We can all say that we would have done this, or done that, but we weren't there and you were. Glad you came through.
