Well decided to wash the ride today, ya I know, no big deal we all do it.
So I backed it outside, went in put on the insulated bibs, insulated, boots, and wore those lineman gloves (thick rubber). HEY it's only 27 degrees out, and I had a choice, sit here all day, sit and think about the wife, or work on the work in progress.
Man tell you what it is pretty cool seeing soap bubbles freeze . anyhow, washed it sections at a time, good rinse followed by the high output blower I have.
Pulled it in the somewhat heated garage, and toweled it off, what joy, and pleasure. Sat back and said to myself "what mod should I work on now".

Now it will be clean if Santa decides to bring me something, slim shot considering what is going on, but hey, I'm looking on the bright side. :)

Never really seen soap bubbles freezing. Must have been cool. The ride must look real nice now. I'd say probably nervous energy, not boredom. Best to you, Longbow.

Man, I'd wash mine if it ever stopped snowing here... Gotta get that nasty magnesium chloride shit off of my baby. Unfortunately, we're on our 6th consecutive day of snow, and the forecast calls for more snow through Monday!

I washed mine last night it was 18 deg. I had the only clean auto in the Chicago area, and more snow is on its way tonight. 19 hours of clean is better than nothing. I think the ice & snow is headed your way.

Sweet, we had the ice storm a couple days back, but I am ready for snow......but not getting my ride dirty till after Santa comes, i'll drive my dad's chevy. Besides he waits until the last minute to do shopping, so he can drive.

tacomaman06... so when do you want me come and do yours, but when I am finished and leave, if you have things missing off you ride....I didn't do it :D

I have washed mine once a week for the past year and 32 days since I have owned it. But the last two weeks with rain on Mondays the truck has not had a wash and then we get all of this ice and sleet and snow and sanding on the roads and slush everywhere and my truck is literally filthy. Thankfully it is Desert Sand colored so it doesn't show the muck real well.

I feel your pain guys, I have washed mine when it gets above freezing here by a degree or two. It'll have to wait though until the weather clears some and the roads clear up some. :)

Well gonna be in the dog house, we had some ice here already. But I needed to put the truck in the garage proper (took up both bays). Ended up icing the driveway more, needed 4 wheel drive to get up in it, and its not that steep.

But then I did walk around it to admire the beauty. :D

My friend has a garage that he keeps at 45, I hosed it down out side and dried in the garage. Most of my driveway is ice just from the snow & rain. Sunday it rained then the temp. droped 40 deg. then the snow. Every year Texas is looking better & better.
