    that would be very nice of you. All that really has to happen is me unplug the battery and try to see if those pins fit in the new bag. If not, I could snip the new plugs and put the ones I got on ebay on there since I know they plug in fine. Having a second look at the pictures I took, the first one...the holes where the pins go through seem to be a tad smaller on the left

    Ya that's what I was looking at from the pics...I also have an extra clockspring that doesn't work and the plugs are good (from a Tacoma)
    So if anything you can have those plugs as well...let me see if I can roll this weekend

    Just a little update....I finally had time this friday to try the airbag I bought. The plugs were almost impossible to put in without some needle nose pliers. You have to squeeze the sides of the plug and push at the same time. Regardless, I got the plugs in the airbag. Fired up the truck and bam! The airbag explodes :mad:....
    ...jk, no, the airbag light just went off and I'm good to go now :thumbsup:

    In all honesty. I could care less about carfax. When and if I sell this truck, the person buying it is going to be using it for the same crap I use it for


    no worries..took 40 mins and 30 mins was spent letting the battery sit unplugged

    There's only one thing left to do at this point....

    Cage it, run suspension seats and 5 point harnesses, and remove the airbags altogether.
    It's the only way to be sure. :cookiemonster:

    So, WTF is a "counterfeit" airbag??

    If I go down to Autozone/PepBoys/Kragen OReilly and buy a non-oem air filter or oil filter or brake pads or CV axle or anything - it's not called a "counterfeit" oil filter. :confused:

    Do airbags need to get some official DOT inspection before they can be sold or something, and these didn't??
