Demello bumper installed extra parts?

Just got my new demello bumper installed but I'm not sure what to withese extra parts they shipped with the bumper. Are they the right parts for my tacoma?

 

Yes they go around the sides and bolt to the frame i am guessing for added support. The square plates are like a big washer for one side. Im on my phone but i know there are pics on here somewhere showing how they mount up

 

Also you shouldve gotten some grade 8 bolts to go with them

 

We did get bolts but couldn't get the stock ones out without bending the flimsy tab they are on.

Also coculdnt figure out were or how the plates went on so hopefully some one has pics to show us

 

OP, the red behind the "DO" - I want to do that!! But in black. How'd you do it? Just a piece of painted metal they tacked back there?

 

Could tac it if ya want. He just bolted a plate back there tho. I really like how it looks

 

Ohhhhhhh, I see the bolts now. Do you know what size the metal was? I have no abilityy to cut metal, so wouldn't mind finding something exact.

 

I made the back from 4" x 1/8" strap 34" long. They cut it at the machine shop where I bought it. I paid around 8 bucks for it.

 

I did get some bolt also and I figured the straps were for tying the bumper to the frame, but I could not figure out how they married together. I'm wondering if I got a kit for an FJ.

Post #11 shows the bracket installed. I couldn't remember where it was so I had to look around. Hope that helps!
After looking at that guys setup I think I should take my bolts off and turn them around so the head is showing to keep the threads on the inside and help keep them from getting nasty.

He got it all figured out. Kinda an odd way to do things i think..gonna add another bracket that goes back to the frame as well.

If you figure something out could you let me know? I'm interested in adding an extra brace as well. Something similar to what elite does with theirs maybe

 

Thats what we are getting is just the Elite brackets. I talked to Tim last night since im getting a rear bumper from him i just asked if he could throw in a couple of those for my dad as well. Said it was no prob.

The only bracket that does that that i have seen. Sells them very cheap too, think its like 40 bucks for both..

yea i know he isn't for full bumpers. Im sure he could whip out a couple of those brackets tho no prob.
