I was faced with a tough choice, i have a 6in fabtech lift, with 35-12.5-20 XD 797 Spys, I need new tires, and i was debating on either getting 35-12.5-20 Hercules trail digger MT's and keeping my rims, or dropping to 33-12.5-17 Hercules Trail Digger MT's and picking up a set of Ballistic Jesters. Also my 35's rub alot! so im sick of that, And the jesters im looking into, would match the truck perfectly.

heres my truck, not the most recent picture, i have a few things different now, the eblems are all matte black on it, not chrome.

Theese are the tires im getting either way

    Trail_Digger_6a8b06dbec8ceb786b7e78c152982c38c23c86e8.jpg[/CENTER]

and theese are the rims that im looking into getting in 17's

    Tell me your opinions! THANKS!

yea i am running 315 with cab mount chop not rubbing. Plus the metric size is cheaper than a true 35.

I would prefer that, but im on a tight budget, and 33's are cheaper then 315's :(

Get the new rims, they are badass and I think 17's would look better. As for the tire size, I think 35's would be badass, but you will be better off with the smaller ones

Go with 40's. If I can make 37's fit (no rubbing!) with zero lift you can fit 40's with a 6". Get out the sawzall and the sledge hammer.

how much work did you do to fit them, even with stock fenders. I want to tub my fender wells to fit 315's but just don't know where too start

I took the coilovers out, then used a jack to lower the truck with the tires on, then anything the tires hit got chopped or beaten on until I could fully stuff the tires. The steel wheels (4"bs) stick out a lot further and I run a half inch spacer too, so that helps some. As you can see, you could fit 37's on an X-runner if you wanted to. The areas to cut are the body mount, pinch weld, and (with stock fenders) around the bottom of the fender near the door. Then beat on the firewall like it owes you money.
