Hey TW.. Ok this is a rather minor issue with the truck, but since it's gotten warm I have been smearing fly guts off the windshield constantly, I've never had a truck, but damn I didnt think the windshield plowed that much air.. Today I was counting to 5 before another one would spread out across the window, let 7 build up wash... repeat.. Kinda annoying, but again not a big issue. .. Any one have any similar issues, any recommended bug deflectors that dont look tacky out there? or should I just expect to use a lot of washer fluid and bug b gone?

    Thanks

Get one of those bug guards. I had one on my five lug then had it on my 4x4 for a minute until i broke it on a trail. they make a world of difference. just learn from my mistake and be careful reversing with a bunch of branches or shrubs around. a pretty small branch caught mine and snapped the whole left side right off. was awesome while it lasted tho.

I don't like it when it rains, how do I stop the rain? I think I need to make a thread about it.

sigh.. JW, I'm not one of those guys, and I dont mind a dirty truck, rain or snow.. but the amount of bugs i've been smearing off the windows the past 3 days is crazy.. so I was just wondering if it's a common issue for Tacos, with the aerodynamics and all.. Sorry for the OP.

Op, I'm just bugging. I don't think that it matters what kind of vehicle you own, it's where you live. It's also the time of the year you're driving.

What I would suggest is every week take it to the pressure washer and get all of those things off. Most of washers I don't think aren't going to do too much to when it comes to getting the bugs off.
