well after about a two month plus wait, finally got my 2012 double cab Sport!

sold my long in the tooth (but reliable) 92 Chevy 2500, figured 20 years is long enough to keep a truck :) was looking for something that offered a little better gas mileage, was very off road capable and reliable- after lots and lots of window shopping, settled on the Tacoma

didn't like the looks of the front mud flaps and appeared they could easily become casualties on off road forays- so I lost them; did like the looks of the TRD center caps- so added them :)

measured my ride heights (the 12 Sport comes the 4 leaf pack) was 20.5" in the front, was pleasantly surprised there was no driver's side lean and 22.2" in the rear (center of hub to wheel arch)- I think I'm going to try Toytec's 1/4" spacers (evidently yield a 1/2" gain in height), I don't really it want dead even, prefer a slight rake

I've got an Avid light bar that is going in tomorrow to get Rhino lined (my buddy runs a local shop :))- eventually it will be topped w/ two Hella 4000's
They do tinting as well so will get the front side windows done to match the rear, they also do vinyl wraps and will get the headlamps, fog lamps and mirrors wrapped (drive on lots of gravel)

I've got a spare set of Sport rims I purchased here, will eventually get those powder coated in an anthracite and put the grey TRD center caps on them- I've got a set of BF TA's in 265/70/17 waiting to wrap those

nothing to radical, but should get me around in the hills :D

Nice truck! Love the super white. There is no such thing as "settling" on a Tacoma. If you didn't get a Taco, you would be settling on something else because you didn't. :)
