The guy has a point though. If you look at the threads where people ask for feedback on trucks they are considering, usually people trash the mods that are already on the truck and mentally discount for them because they themselves wouldn't have picked them. Of course if its done top notch and the person buying wants that exact setup then it may be worth more to that buyer, BUT for the most part people would rather buy a stock truck and THEN customize it so they will know it's done the way they want.

I don't want one because I stand 6'6''... So... My seat is already back and I don't want to sacrifice head room.

Had one in a previous vehicle. Leaked like a sieve. Now, I live in SoCal so it wasn't the utter disaster that it could have been, but it wasn't a workable long-term solution either. And it's not like you can go back once that hole's in your roof!

I hate sun roofs. Have never used one on any vehicle that I have owned with one. Just don't see the point.

Yes you can. Its called body work. I do it all the time on old cars. Replacing rusted out body parts and even roofs.

Never saw the point to them. If anything, I think most cars have an overabundance of windows and this problem has to be overcome with tinting and A/C.

I would LOVE one on my first gen. Weather here is always suitable for a sunroof or convertible. Anyone know if a dealership can install one?
