Since my new truck is on order and won't be here for another 6-8 weeks I wanted to order some amsoil for when it arrives....
Can anyone tell me the recommended viscosity numbers printed on the oil fill cap ?

the guy at the dealer told me 5w-30 is the standard....
but we all know how reliable dealer info is...

    thanks in advance...

:) Well, the dealer info is correct. You know, you have 2 years of free oil changes and other related serviceable items, but if you want to use Amzoil, it is your choice.

amsoil is the only synthetic where I have personally seen in improvement in fuel economy..
Besides the guys who work at the dealership where I live are a bunch of toothless -know nothing -country boy hacks !...
when I owned my 'o6 tacmoma 4cyl they left the oil fill cap off and as I drove it home oil was spewing all over the engine compartment...they came to the house & cleaned everything & refilled it...but I dont trust them ever since...
