    Hypothetically speaking of course:D

I test drove all these things and the Tacoma was by far the best.
Frontier was #2. They have a great rep but were not easy to find.
I didn't mind the Colorado/Canyon but the inline 5 scares me.
Ranger and Dakota were both crap.
Not sure why the Ridgeline fell into this class. It also has a great rep but the small box makes it useless to me.

The Frontier wins on quality, but I like the Rangers better than the new Frontiers

I quite liked the Frontier LE. Never seriously considered buying one though. None of the other choices even figured in my decision.

I picked Frontier, but I like Suzuki's version of it better. The front headlights on the Suzuki look like the Tacoma's. JMO.

I would also do a Fullsize truck.. (Probably a Chevy Silverado) Ridgeline if it had a bigger BOX. (Thats why i have a longbed.. i feel a 4 or 5 ft box is useless.)

Ford F150......it was between it and the Tacoma when I bought my Tacoma. No other mid-size truck is worth a damn in my opinion. :D

I'd PROBABLY go with the Suzuki Equator over the Frontier simply because of the better warranty and I like the front end better. I'd rather NOT own another Nissan though (been there, done that) but considering the options, there really is no other choice.

Other than that, I'd probably move up to a full size like a Sierra or Ram.

BTW, putting the Ranger up there is a joke. Such a pathetic vehicle.

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
Ridgeline -- almost bought one actually, but Honda thinks they're made out of gold (more than Toyota thinks of the Tacoma at least)...

But it's not really a truck -- it's an car with a small open area for cargo... (c'mon, it's FWD)...

I'd have to say, none of the above. I'd have to search high and low for an old Jeep Comanche (I think it was the Comanche) --the one from Twister.
